How rates are determined

Your base rental depends on how long you rent — not on whether the van is set up for 12 or 15 passengers. Rates decrease the longer you rent. Our base rental schedule and standard company requirements are the same at every location. Any Airport Location Fee, taxes, availability and legally required location-specific terms depend on your pickup spot.

The $135 and $90 extended-rental rates apply only to the additional days shown, per van. Applicable taxes and services are itemized or clearly marked pending confirmation before payment.

What's included

Unlimited mileage does not remove geographic restrictions or the requirement to notify Nation Van Rentals before leaving the pickup state.

Security hold

A temporary $1,000 card hold per van is placed on the payment card at pickup. It is separate from the rental payment. The unused hold is released within one day after the vehicle is returned and inspected, less any authorized charges. Your bank's processing time may vary; a hold on a debit card may temporarily reduce your available balance. Full hold policy →

Airport Location Fee

Airport Location Fee — $65 per van, per rental. It is charged once per rental, per van, and is shown in your estimate as soon as you choose your pickup spot. It is not charged for a Tampa–Fletcher pickup (1519 E Fletcher Ave), and not charged when your van is delivered directly to your home, hotel or other approved address — the separate delivery charge applies instead. Returning a van to an airport facility does not add it, and end-of-rental collection does not remove it. It is separate from the $65 minimum for optional delivery or end-of-rental pickup and from unlimited mileage.

Additional charges that may apply

Late return	60-minute grace period after the scheduled return time; after that, one additional rental day at the reservation's contracted daily rate plus applicable daily add-ons. The grace period does not extend the reservation.
Missing fuel	Actual replacement fuel cost plus a $35 refueling service fee, if the van is returned below the fuel level documented at pickup (most vans are provided full).
Tolls	Actual toll amount plus a $25 administrative fee per rental or consolidated toll invoice.
Traffic & parking violations	Actual amount plus a $50 administrative fee per notice. You remain responsible even if the notice reaches us after the rental.
Driver-caused roadside	Actual service cost plus a $50 administrative fee (e.g. lockouts, dead battery from customer use, misfueling). Mechanical failures not caused by the renter are handled and paid by Nation Van Rentals.
Lost or damaged keys	Actual replacement, reprogramming and any necessary towing cost plus a $100 administrative fee.
Excessive cleaning	Excessive dirt, trash, food, spills or heavy cleaning: up to $150 · Severe stains, excessive pet hair/odor or professional detailing: up to $300 · Smoking or vaping odor/residue: up to $450 · Bodily fluids, biohazards or extraordinary remediation: actual documented professional cost · Burns, permanent stains, damaged upholstery and other physical damage: handled as vehicle damage. Smoking and vaping are prohibited in every vehicle.
One-way & delivery	Priced from the distance schedule; both require prior approval and are quoted, shown and approved before any amount is charged.

Long-term and multi-van customers may request a custom quote; we do not advertise or guarantee a specific discount percentage, and you can always book at the published rates. A custom quote is not final until Nation Van Rentals approves it in writing. If any website summary differs from the signed rental agreement, the rental agreement controls.
