Information we collect
When you book or request a quote, contact us or send an operator inquiry, we collect the details you provide: name, email address, phone number, organization, pickup and return details, vehicle and add-on selections, driver information required for the rental agreement, and the contents of your messages. Our web hosting provider, Hostinger, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, pages requested, date and time, and browser type) for security and troubleshooting, and delivers this website through its content delivery network. Nation Van Rentals does not place its own advertising cookies. This website uses Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to measure how the site is used (see "Other services used on this website" below).
Website forms and FormSubmit
Our online contact and inquiry forms are temporarily unavailable (please call or email us). When they are switched on, messages submitted on this website will be delivered to our mailbox (info@nationvanrentals.com) by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a third-party form-delivery service. The information you type into a form — including your name, contact details, organization and trip details — is transmitted to FormSubmit and forwarded to us by email so that we can respond. FormSubmit may show a CAPTCHA to filter automated submissions. We do not use FormSubmit for payment information, and no card details are collected on our forms.
Optional email while booking. If you enter an email address on the first booking step and continue, we will send (once form delivery is switched on; nothing is sent until then) our team one short "booking started" notice containing only that email, your pickup and return locations, your dates and times, the rental length and a random reference used to avoid sending it twice. We use it only to follow up about that trip. It is not a reservation, it does not add you to any marketing list, and it is currently delivered by FormSubmit (a temporary arrangement — it may be replaced by our own reservation system, and we do not represent that it is stored in a customer database). Leaving the field blank sends nothing.
Information kept in your browser
While you are booking, this website keeps your in-progress selections (locations, dates, van count, options, any delivery or collection address you selected, and the optional email) in your browser's session storage for the current tab only, so a page refresh does not lose your place. It is removed when you close the tab, when you submit a request, and it is never written to long-term storage. Calculated prices, road distances, tax figures and quote identifiers are not kept in your browser — they are recalculated fresh — and required acceptance boxes always start unchecked. Apart from the Google Analytics cookies described below, we do not use tracking cookies, and we do not store card details in your browser.
Payment information
No payment information is collected on this website today: online card entry is not yet switched on. When it is, card details are entered directly in the payment provider's secure fields and are never stored on nationvanrentals.com. A reservation made by phone is paid with the method our team confirms with you.
Other services used on this website
- Web hosting and content delivery (Hostinger) — pages are served from Hostinger's servers and content delivery network, which receive your IP address and standard request data when a page loads and keep server logs as described above.
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 — Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics, which sets first-party cookies (_ga and a _ga_-prefixed cookie) and collects information about your device, browser, approximate location, the pages you view and how you arrived, so we can understand how the site is used. Google receives this information as our processor. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on or by blocking cookies for this site; see Google's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — the fonts on this site are loaded from Google's servers, which receive your IP address when a page loads.
- Google Maps — location pages that publish an approved address embed a Google map; Google receives your IP address when the map loads.
- Google Places & distance (door-to-door delivery) — if you request door-to-door delivery or collection, the address box uses Google's address-autocomplete service to suggest and confirm a valid U.S. address; what you type and your approximate location are sent to Google to return suggestions. The road-driving distance used to price the service is then calculated through Google's routing service. Google receives this address information to provide those results. This applies only when you choose door-to-door service and enter an address.

- Email and telephone providers — used to reply to you and to send reservation communications.
How we use your information
- To price and manage your reservation or quote, confirm availability and pricing, take payment when you book online, and fulfil your reservation, including pickup instructions and reservation updates
- To respond to your questions, quotes and operator inquiries
- To send transactional text messages about your reservation, and promotional texts only if you separately opt in
- To meet legal, safety and insurance requirements connected with the rental
Sharing
We share information only with the service providers described above, with our reservation and payment platforms once online checkout is in use, and when required by law, to enforce our rental agreement, or to resolve tolls, violations or damage connected with your rental. We do not sell your personal information.
Text messages
By providing a mobile number you agree to receive transactional messages about your reservation. Promotional messages are sent only with your separate consent. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing info@nationvanrentals.com. We retain reservation records as required for legal, accounting and insurance purposes.
